The Tanzanian international has signed a short-term contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.

Joshua previously featured for Tusker FC over two seasons, leaving a strong impression in his debut campaign where he emerged as a key attacking outlet, finishing with 12 goals. His second season, however, proved challenging, as a knee injury sidelined him for a significant period.
He departed the club at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season and returned to Tanzania, where he had spells with his former side KenGold as well as Namungo SC. Now back in Ruaraka, Joshua says he returns with a sense of purpose and “unfinished business.”
“When I left, I felt I still owed the club a great deal,” Joshua said upon his return.
“I was coming off a difficult injury period, and the club stood by me and supported me fully. Now that I’m back, my ambition is to repay the faith they showed in me. I have unfinished business here and I’m ready to work hard to see it through. Above all, my goal is to help take the club back to the top.”
The striker also expressed his delight at returning to familiar surroundings.
“I am really happy to be back at a place I call home. Even though there are many new faces, I have felt welcome from the first day of training. The few teammates I worked with previously have also made the transition much easier for me.”
Head coach Charles Okere has welcomed the return of the burly forward, believing his presence will add valuable depth and variety to the attacking unit as the season enters its decisive phase.
“We are getting into the business end of the season and the matches will only get tougher,” Okere said.
“We need depth in every department, and Ibrahim’s return is a big boost for us. He understands the club’s culture, knows what it means to wear this badge, and brings a different dimension to our attack. That variation will be very important for us.”
Joshua’s registration has been approved after all necessary documentation was cleared, and he will be available for selection as Tusker FC hosts Posta Rangers in Saturday’s home fixture in Murang’a.
