Juventus are ready to launch a €80m bid to re-sign Paul Pogba in January, according to reports in Italy.

TuttoSport say the Old Lady are preparing to splash the cash again to strengthen their squad with a view to winning the Champions League in 2019.

And they are ready to offer Pogba a chance to return to Turin, where he spent a hugely successful four years before his return to Old Trafford.

It is understood they are considering Pogba and out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder Isco as transfer targets, and they are willing to offer Manchester United €80million for their midfielder.

But United might be reluctant to take a financial hit on the French World Cup winner after spending €105million to sign him from Turin in 2016.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford after falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho in recent weeks.

He has been left out of the starting line-up in their last two games and has reportedly been "shocked" at his treatment by the Portuguese boss.

Yet Mourinho insists his absence is simply a case of managing his squad to bring the best out of his players.

He said: "I'm looking for him to play well, to have a good impact on the game and the team.

"A team without many miles on their legs. A team with some players who are not playing a lot.

"I hope that people like Paul and a couple of others, who are normally in the team, and have that number of miles that players need to be on the top level, can have an impact on the team."
