On 27 January, Bournemouth officially announced the signing of winger Rayan.

AFC Bournemouth is delighted to announce the signing of highly-rated winger Rayan on a five-and-a-half-year contract.
The exciting youngster arrives on the south coast of England following an outstanding calendar year in 2025, during which he scored 20 goals in 57 appearances across all competitions for Vasco da Gama, underlining his growing reputation as one of the most dynamic young attackers in the game.
Rayan has also impressed on the international stage with Brazil’s youth teams. He netted eight goals in 14 appearances for Brazil’s under-17 side and has continued his progression with the under-20s, scoring twice since stepping up to the older age group.
Tiago Pinto, AFC Bournemouth’s President of Football Operations, shared his delight following the signing: “Rayan is a player we have followed closely and who has already shown impressive consistency and maturity for his age.
“We believe he has enormous potential, and Bournemouth is the right environment for him to continue his development and make an impact. I’m pleased that he chose our project as the one he committed to and we’re very excited to have him as part of our team, as we continue to reinvest in the squad.”

AFC Bournemouth would like to extend its welcome to Rayan, who will wear shirt number 37 for the club.
