According to Italian journalist Schira, Japanese midfielder Hidemasa Morita, who currently plays for Sporting Lisbon, is close to joining Leeds United on a free transfer.
Hidemasa Morita, 30 years old, will see his current contract with Sporting Lisbon expire in June this year. So far this season, he has made 47 appearances for Sporting Lisbon, including 31 starts, contributing 1 goal and 5 assists.
According to Schira, Hidemasa Morita is only one step away from joining Leeds United on a free transfer, with the latter having prepared a 2-year contract with an option for a 1-year extension.
