Son Heung-min says Tottenham are ready for war as they bid to wreck Arsenal's Premier League dream.  Spurs must also win to keep pace with Aston Villa in the race for Champions League football - meaning today's crunch north London derby showdown could define their season.  Son said: “It’s a very special game. It means a lot for the club and for the fans, especially at home. We don’t want to let anyone down. We want to make it a perfect day for the fans so they can go home with their chest out, with a smile on their face, to make them as happy as possible. We shouldn’t just think that it’s our game.  “It’s also for the club and the fans who come all the way to make it an amazing game and you have to respect that as a club and also take the responsibility to make it happen - because it’s our home.  “It is going to be war. For them it is a very important time and a very important game. And for us as well. We want to make the club, fans and ourselves proud."

Son netted twice in September's thrilling 2-2 draw at the Emirates and now he is looking to celebrate reaching 400 appearances for Tottenham in style.  He added on the landmark achievement: "I couldn’t believe I made 400 games and it’s been almost ten years at one club. That’s a fantastic feeling.”  Ange Postecoglou was in the face of fierce criticism after Tottenham were thumped 4-0 at Newcastle two weeks ago. However, Son is adamant the hard-nosed Aussie has all the tools to deliver success at the club despite a whirlwind debut season.

When asked if he is the right man for the job, the Tottenham captain responded emphatically: “I have no doubt, to be honest. He’s very special and working so hard. Obviously it’s his first season and sometimes we have not done what he's wanted
“Sometimes we have been battered and he’s also been unhappy with a decision and with the way he wanted us to play
“I feel he will definitely bring success to this club but as players we have to be in the same boat, everyone. Then there is no doubt
“The football he plays and the way he wants to approach it is fantastic, we just have to follow in this direction and there is no doubt we will be successful.”
