Spurs to sign Birmingham striker Che Adams who are wanted by Man Utd & Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Birmingham City striker Che Adams, according to TEAMtalk.

Adams was heavily linked with Burnley in the January transfer window, and the Mirror claims a host of Premier League clubs – including Manchester United, Watford and Arsenal – watched the 22-year-old against Bolton Wanderers earlier this month.

In total, Adams has scored 19 goals in 32 Championship appearances so far this season. He had only previously reached double figures once; bagging 11 League One goals for Sheffield United in 2015/16.

TEAMtalk believes Spurs have joined the list of clubs interested in Adams, as have Everton, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of young English players in recent months. It is believed the Londoners are attempting to increase their home-grown quota, so a move for Adams would make sense.

What's more, Spurs could be in need of a new striker to provide cover for Harry Kane if Fernando Llorente doesn't extend his contract this summer.

A young English striker like Adams would be ideal, but would he be happy to sit on the bench most of the time?
