TA: Sancho and Salah won't move to Saudi Arabia before deadline
Neither Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho or Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah will be moving to Saudi Arabia before tonight's transfer window deadline.
On Sunday, Sancho called United manager Erik ten Hag’s claim he was left out of his squad to face Arsenal due to poor performances in training “completely untrue”.
The 23-year-old wasn’t part United's squad for Sunday’s Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium. Ten Hag revealed afterwards that Sancho wasn't injured and his selection was down to his displays in training.
He has subsequently been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but a transfer won't be happening.
Salah, meanwhile, has been attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League and The Athletic previously reported that Liverpool had rejected a verbal proposal, worth in excess of £100million plus substantial add-ons worth up to £150m, for the 31-year-old.
Although he won't be moving anywhere tonight, well-documented interest in Salah remains for a potential future move and there are good relations between all parties.
